This study examines the jurisprudential regulations governing cultural tourism, which comprise a set of rules and principles that guide the practice of cultural tourism from an Islamic perspective. These regulations aim to achieve a balance between enjoying cultural landmarks and adhering to Islamic values and ethics. Among the key jurisprudential guidelines for cultural tourism are respect for the natural and social environment, the promotion of social solidarity, ensuring the right of all individuals to participate in tourism, adherence to Islamic values, avoidance of extravagance and waste, preservation of historical and cultural heritage, compliance with laws and regulations, avoidance of seclusion with non-mahram women, refraining from inappropriate mixing, avoiding viewing prohibited matters, abstaining from staying in unlawful places, and observing the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharīʿah). Cultural tourism is also regarded as a means of learning about the history, culture, and civilization of other nations, reflecting on the signs of God in the universe, serving as a tool for inviting others to Islam, and strengthening ties between Muslims and non-Muslims.
