Abstract

The current research aimed to determine the effect of using digital stories on the rhetorical achievement of fifth-grade scientific students. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher chose Dijla Preparatory School for Girls, affiliated with Baghdad Al-Karkh Third Education School. and the number of students in the research sample. was (56) students, including (28) students in the experimental group, and (28) students in the control group. The researcher rewarded them with variables: Chronological age, previous year's grades, intelligence, and previous rhetorical information test. The researcher prepared the research requirements, such as behavioural objectives and teaching plans, as well as the rhetorical achievement test, which consisted of (20) items divided into two questions. The first question included (15) objective, multiple-choice paragraphs with four alternatives, while the second question included (5) essay paragraphs. After the researcher confirmed its validity, reliability and psychometric properties, she applied it to the research sample and achieved superiority among the female students of the experimental group who studied rhetoric according to the use of the digital story in the rhetorical achievement test.
