This research aims to study the Quranic verses cited as evidence for the Imamate of Ahl al-Bayt, analyzing their interpretive implications and the differences in understanding among Islamic schools of thought. The research employs an analytical and comparative methodology to examine Quranic texts and interpretive narrations, focusing on verses such as the Verse of Wilayah (Indeed, your guardian is Allah, His Messenger, and the believers), the Verse of Tabligh (O Messenger, convey what has been revealed to you), the Verse of Ikmal (This day I have perfected your religion for you), and the Verse of Ulil Amr (Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you). These verses are analyzed in light of narrations attributed to Ahl al-Bayt, compared with other interpretations, and assessed for their strength as evidence for the Imamate of Ahl al-Bayt. The findings reveal that these verses carry strong implications for wilayah and Imamate according to Shia narrations, while differing interpretations exist among Islamic schools. The research also highlights the importance of Quranic context and linguistic analysis in understanding these verses, as well as the role of intellectual differences in shaping diverse interpretations. The study concludes that a scholarly and objective dialogue among Islamic schools is essential for a deeper understanding of the Quranic text.
