The word in the Qur’anic text, in its true essence، has a gentle sound to the ear and a light touch on the tongue، indicating the meaning after reflection and contemplation with ease and clarity. It possesses distinctive qualities within the Qur’anic composition and carries multiple features, signifying precision and comprehensiveness in expression, ensuring that the intended meanings are conveyed and clarified. This prompted me to reflect and ponder upon Surat Al-Kafirun, which is a Makki surah consisting of six verses characterized by their phonetic and semantic eloquence. I dedicated my study to examining the phonetic significance of this blessed surah, as its phonetic aspect reflects the eloquence of its precise wording, the strength and clarity of its expressions, and the repetition of certain words, which reinforces the meaning and affirms a firm stance against disbelief and disbelievers. From the semantic perspective, the surah conveys a clear message of monotheism, rejection of polytheism, confirmation of Islamic steadfastness, and the refusal to abandon its fundamental principles.
