This study addresses the geopolitical dimension of the Yemeni tribes in the Levant during the Battle of Siffin (37 AH/675 AD), highlighting their pivotal role and active contribution in forming political and military alliances, as well as the tribal structure that contributed to the employment of these tribes in the service of the ruling political powers in the Levant. These alliances resulted in the emergence of centres of influence for the Yemeni tribes, such as Damascus, Homs and other cities whose tribal structure played an active role in the conflict between the people of the Levant and Iraq during the Rashidun Caliphate.
